What this course is

You build a small full-stack footprint: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a lightweight backend (Node/Express or Python/Flask). AI may scaffold — you must explain every function. You also learn research habits: 5 Whys, docs-first reading, rubber-duck debugging, and short time-boxed “spikes” when a problem is new.

Why it exists

Knowing syntax is not enough. Professionals are defined by figuring out unknown libraries, APIs, and bugs without waiting for a teacher. A live portfolio proves you can ship. Research frameworks stop you from freezing every time a client or internship throws something new at you.

What you do

  • Build and deploy a personal portfolio (e.g. GitHub Pages)
  • Start projects from user stories, not random tutorials
  • Debug with the 5 Whys written out
  • Practice docs-first research and short spike summaries

You leave with

A live portfolio site plus a written log of a bug you actually fixed.
